Team owner Gerard Lopez thinks it is likely Lotus will stay with Renault power beyond 2013. Next year, F1 is switching to all-new and more expensive turbo V6 engines, and Luxembourger Lopez admitted Lotus is yet to sign a new Renault contract for 2014.
"However, it's no secret that we have a close relationship with them," he told the French magazine F1i.
"In my opinion, there will be no surprises," added Lopez.
Lotus expects to stay with Renault in 2014
