Kimi Raikkonen has officially joined Instagram and posted his first video claiming that he doesn't know what he's doing. The Finn has gained a reputation for being the 'strong and silent' type, and has previously stated he had no interest in social media.

However, before the new year, the 37-year-old set up his own Instagram account, with a brief message for his fans. In the first 24 hours, the 2007 world champion has gained over 150,000 followers.

This time I don’t know what I’m doing. #Kimi7

  • I used to think of him as a character on the grid... During the McLaren days. Now... He just seems perpetually annoyed and disappointed, always being difficult with the press, and on top of that massively underperforming for four consecutive years. Other than Felipe Massa there is no other driver I want to see leave Formula 1 more than him. I don't even know why he's still around. He seems to hate it all. The fans, the hype, the attention, the car, the tracks, the younger drivers who out-maneuver him (e.g. Bottas, Verstappen)

I totally agree with your sentiments!

I was once a huge Kimi fan, now I just find him blahhh..... It'd be great to see a Ferrari driver who at least 'seemed excited' about having the seat, and was bursting out of his skin to have a go!!

I’m quite sure Robert Kubica could have done no worse...
