Daniel Ricciardo is the first of the two Red Bull Racing drivers to sample the new 2017 machinery. The Australian is scheduled to open the first winter test for Red Bull on February 27, F1Today.net has learned from sources within the team.
Ricciardo will hand over the RB13 to Max Verstappen for the second day of testing. The Red Bull Racing drivers are going to take turns driving the new car, with Ricciardo on day 3 and Verstappen closing off the first week of testing on March 2.
The order will be reversed for the second winter test, with Verstappen-Ricciardo-Verstappen-Ricciardo as schedule for Red Bull Racing. Both tests will take place on Circuit de Catalunya near Barcelona. The second test starts on March 7 and ends on March 10.
