Although a move to Mercedes has not yet been made official, it looks increasingly likely that Valtteri Bottas will join the Silver Arrows.
According to reports, the Finn was spotted taking a tour of the Mercedes factory in Brackley. It is also suggested that he met with the engineers that he could be working with next year.
Mercedes previously stated that they would not be announcing their driver until the new year, so perhaps it will come in the next few days. Felipe Massa is also expected to come out of retirement and sign with Williams to partner Lance Stroll.
It is also reported that Mercedes did think about promoting Pascal Wehrlein, but they do not think he is ready to drive in a championship fighting team. It is suggested that he will either stay put at Manor or transfer to Sauber.
