McLaren preparing to oust Ron Dennis

Ron Dennis is set to leave McLaren next week according to various reports.

A number of British media outlets claim the McLaren boss has been at the London High Court to try to prevent the company he has led for decades ousting him.

According to the Express, Dennis has engineered a $2 billion takeover backed by Chinese investors, leading other shareholders including Mansour Ojjeh and the Bahrainis to move to oust the 69-year-old quickly.

Other reports say Dennis' move to get an injunction in the High Court against that move failed.

McLaren have so far refused to comment on the matter.
