Nico Rosberg has revealed that Sebastian Vettel called him after the Malaysia Grand Prix to apologise for their collision at the start of yesterday's race.
Vettel tagged the rear of Rosberg's car, sending him into a spin and knocking him to the back of the field in the incident, which looked to have severely dented Rosberg's world championship ambitions before Lewis Hamilton's retirement.

The Ferrari driver was quick to admit fault for the collision, saying afterwards: "From inside the car I was to trying get past Max, which was fine, and obviously Nico came back and at that point he couldn’t see me so it is not his fault at all," Vettel admitted. "I can’t do more than apologise to him because it had nothing to do with him and it was the last thing he wanted."
Now Rosberg has revealed on a video posted to his YouTube channel that Vettel phoned him to apologise for the incident.
"Sebastian just called me actually, so he apologised, which is nice," he said. "[It] doesn't get me back the points that I lost, but it's still nice to hear that."
