Daniil Kvyat downbeat after further woes

Daniil Kvyat has hinted that his Formula One career could end if he doesn't turn his form around soon.

The Russian, who was on the podium earlier this year in China, has struggled since being demoted to Toro Rosso after the Russian Grand Prix.

He will start the German Grand Prix from 18th on the grid, leaving him downbeat about his career prospects in light of his recent results.

"It’s looking very bad now, and if it continues like this then I don’t think anything bright is ahead," Kvyat told Autosport. "I just need to get things going, and once I do that, then it will be fine."

"It’s not like I’m having the most pleasant time in the world, it’s not easy, but it’s not an excuse, he added. "Everyone has hard times. If you’re good, you come out of it, if you’re not good enough, you just die."
