Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg has ended the first free practice for the Grand Prix of Singapore on top. The German was the only one to go under 1:48. Lewis Hamilton and Daniel Ricciardo complete the top three. Trouble for Daniil Kvyat and Pastor Maldonado. Kvyat did only a few laps because of a fuel system problem and a gearbox problem ended the session early for Maldonado. Rookie Alexander Rossi crashed in his first session for Manor in turn 18.

Thats one mighty time there from Rosberg. Not a very good start from Rossi though.
