Reigning constructors champions, Red Bull are in serious trouble at Jerez according a British journalist.
The news comes as no surprise after Sebastian Vettel only completed a grand total of 11 laps in two days of testing, his fastest being some +14 seconds off the pace. He also spun on his first lap in the car.
New team-mate Daniel Ricciardo also hit trouble after stopping on his installation lap, and only completing a further two laps before his running for the day was cut short.
The Renault-powered car has allegedly been suffering from an energy-store problem, which attributed to Tuesday and Wednesday's lack of running. However, today's problem has been described as a 'car-related issue'.
The Austrian squad are understandably frustrated at the lack of track action so far, with rivals Mercedes and Ferrari completing over 10x more running between them.
Although, Race Engineering Co-ordinator Andy Damerum is optimistic of the team recovering sucessfully; It's obviously not where we want to be and naturally the whole team is frustrated by these issues.
However, we're pretty good at bouncing back from this type of thing. This is where the whole team pulls together and I'm sure we will get these problems fixed.
