Marussia to miss first test

According to a British source, this was due to a 'last-minute' technical glitch, which has halted their progress in getting the MR03 prepared and transported to the track in time for the first test which commences tomorrow.
It is understood that the British-based team preferred to address the issue back at the factory in Banbury where their resources are readily available.
The Russian-owned squad are aiming to have the problem resolved by mid-week and hope to take part in the final day of the Jerez test on Friday. However, should they fail to rectify the problem, they, along with Lotus will be the only two teams to have missed the first test.
Marussia are changing from Cosworth to Ferrari power this season, using their new 059/3 Power Unit to comply with the 1.6 litre V6 turbocharged regulation that has come into place for 2014.
They will retain the same driver line-up of Jules Bianchi and Max Chilton for the season ahead.
