McLarenMercedes have unveiled their 2014 challenger, the MP4-29 to the public.
The car features a chrome silver livery, which we believe was adopted due to Ron Dennis re-assuming authority by returning to the Chief Executive Officer role that he stood down from in 2012.
The now infamous anteater nose is expectedly present, which is due to a regulation change stating that the noses may sit no higher than 185mm above the ground.
No title sponsor is shown with the Woking-based outfit expected to run without one for the season ahead, after Vodafone did not renew their contract past 2013. However, a minor sponsor in the form of SAP is visible.
The MP4-29 is the third Mercedes-powered car to have been revealed this season, with Force India unveiling the VM07 on Wednesday and Williams with the FW36 yesterday.
The biggest change this season comes in the form of the change to 1.6 Litre V6 Turbo-charged engines, which are rumoured to produced up to 100bhp more than their Ferrari and Renault counterparts.
Jenson Button and Kevin Magnussen will pilot the car for 2014, with the team confirming that they will be present at the first test in Jerez that gets underway on Monday the 28th.
Stoffel Vandoorne was announced as the teams' Test/Reserve Driver yesterday afternoon, although it is unknown whether or not he will share the driving duties with Magnussen and Button.
