Robert Kubica is set to make his return to competition this weekend. Polish sources the Warsaw Business Journal and the news agency Polska Agencja Prasowa report that the former BMW and Renault driver is signed up to contest the Italian rally Ronde Gomitolo di Lana.
Pole Kubica, 27, has been recovering from horror injuries ever since he crashed in a minor Italian rally in early 2011.
The reports said he will drive a Subaru Impreza with Italian Giuliano Manfredi as his co-driver.
