Danny Sosef

Danny is the owner of GPToday.net and has been following Formula 1 very closely since the 1996 Belgian Grand Prix, having watched all but a few races live. He started setting up the website in 2002, and on January 6, 2003, F1Today.nl was launched, which later became F1Today.net, which in turn changed to the current GPToday.net.

Over the years, the large network he has built up in the F1 paddock has resulted in many scoops, such as Michael Schumacher being carsick, and of course the scoop of the century that Max Verstappen was going to replace Daniil Kvyat from the 2016 Spanish Grand Prix - which he managed to win the following week!

Over the past 20 years, he has attended more than a hundred F1 test sessions in Spain, Portugal, France, Germany and Belgium to report live, and attended multiple Grands Prix.
