Valtteri Bottas has said that he has been left "slightly confused" by his half-second gap to team-mate Lewis Hamilton after qualifying third for Sunday's Belgian Grand Prix.
The Finn was beaten to a front row start by Sebastian Vettel, and he seemingly attributed this to a lack of grip in the second sector of the lap. Hamilton has made no such complaints over the weekend so far, being much happier with his car and its behaviour.

"This whole weekend, for some reason, I've just not really been close enough to be able to challenge for the pole," Bottas said. "For sure Lewis has been really on it. I'm slightly confused why I've not been able to get quite close enough. I still need to find some answers.
"The balance of the car has been feeling really good, but just lacking overall grip and that way losing a lot of time in the high-speed corners in sector two. It was always going to be a bit tricky to challenge for the pole and it would have been nice to be at least second. But still, second row, hopefully as a team we can do a good job tomorrow."
