Dr Helmut Marko thinks that Red Bull will be right in the mix tomorrow when qualifying gets underway, claiming that one of their cars could sneak onto the front row.
Red Bull has so far struggled this year, as the RB13 has underperformed and is well behind the pace of Mercedes and Ferrari. however, in Red Bull, the team looks rejuvenated and on form. Last year, Daniel Ricciardo claimed pole position around the streets of Monte Carlo.
"Hamilton and Vettel were ahead because of their impressive ability around the corners," Marko told the Austrian newspaper Kronen Zeitung. "But we are with the music. The gap is tight and we are definitely closer. Our direction is right," Marko said
And the possibility of a trip to the podium on Sunday?: "Nothing is impossible," he said, "but I think Mercedes has a very different power unit. I do think that everything from the first to the third row is possible," Marko added.
