Nico Rosberg has vowed to "go for the win" in tomorrow's Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
The German only needs a podium to guarantee him a first world championship crown, but is looking to beat team mate and rival Lewis Hamilton to first place, after the Brit beat him to pole position earlier today.
"I came here trying to grab pole and win the race," said Rosberg. "Lewis just did a great job in qualifying, he was a couple of tenths quicker, and it just wasn't possible for me to do that time today, even though I gave it everything."
"[My] opportunity is tomorrow and I'll go for the win," he insisted.
"I had a good balance [with the car], and I was quite pleased... as qualifying went on I felt better and better, I got a good lap in at the end, but it was not good enough."
