Red Bull motorsport advisor Dr. Helmut Marko has denied rumours James Allison could be heading to the energy drink-backed team.
Allison left Ferrari and Italy earlier this year after the sudden death of his wife, and has since been linked with a move to UK-based teams Renault, McLaren, and Red Bull.
The Red Bull link is reportedly to replace Adrian Newey who has taken more of a back seat in recent years.
But Red Bull's Dr Helmut Marko said: "This is utter nonsense.
"We do not talk to him. We think he will probably go back to Enstone with Renault," he told Germany's Auto Bild.
It was also rumoured that Toro Rosso's James Key could be on his way to Williams, where Pat Symonds is tipped to retire at the age of 65 by 2018.
While Marko does not rule out an exit for Key, but Symonds is refuting the reports.
"I read that," he confirmed at Suzuka. "I was quite surprised actually.
"It reminded me of Mark Twain, who said 'rumours of my demise are greatly exaggerated'. I think I take the same view on my retirement," said Symonds.
