Carlos Sainz expecting strong weekend for Toro Rosso

Carlos Sainz has said he is looking forward to this weekend's Hungarian Grand Prix.

Despite retiring from last year's race, Sainz said he enjoys racing in Budapest, adding that the resurfacing work carried out at the track since last year's race will offer an interesting challenge.

"I enjoy racing in Hungary," the 21-year-old said. "Just like they did in Austria this year, the circuit in Budapest has also been resurfaced, so all our references will have to be reset."

"I also think that our car should be strong here, so I'm looking forward to the weekend."

Sainz currently sits 12th in the drivers' championship standings, one place and three points ahead of team mate Daniil Kvyat. The 21-year-old has scored points in all but three races so far this season.
