Pascal Wehrlein scored Manor Racing's first F1 point since the late Jules Bianchi's finished ninth in Monaco in 2014 by finishing in an emotional 10th place in Austria.
Despite seeming embarrassed about almost starting in the wrong grid position, the young German steadily redeemed himself during the race.
"I almost messed it up before the race even started" he said. "I was in the wrong grid position and I just realised something was wrong as I was behind Sebastian."
After starting 12th on the grid, he was running in 11th behind Valterri Bottas on the last lap, until Sergio Perez ran into brake problems and hit the wall.
