Sebastian Vettel emerged fastest in the third free practice ahead of the Monaco Grand Prix. The Ferrari driver beat fellow German Nico Rosberg and defending world champion Lewis Hamilton.
Daniel Ricciardo ended a good fourth for Red Bull Racing, with Carlos Sainz in fifth. Max Verstappen, teammate of the Spaniard, ended ninth after a little mistake in the final corner that costed him the last quarter of the session.
Kimi Raikkonen hit the wall in the first corner, and damaged his left rear wheel. The Finnish driver was unable to continue his session, leaving him sixth in the standings.
Qualifying for the Monaco Grand Prix starts at 14.00 hours local time.
