Lewis Hamilton has ended the second free practice for the Grand Prix of Monaco on top of the table. The Mercedes driver set the best time in the first fifteen minutes. Then Roberto Merhi crashed under braking for the chicane after the tunnel and that was is. The red flag was needed, it started to rain and the teams chose to stay in their garages for more than one hour. In the end there were some laps on intermediates and wets, but nobody could improve on their times.
