Hamilton can end careers, according to his father

Lewis Hamilton's father believes that his son can end Formula One careers, sending a warning to new team mate Valtteri Bottas. Bottas will join the Silver Arrows, replacing retired world champion Nico Rosberg.

Bottas' deal at Mercedes is only for one year and Anthony Hamilton has said that the Finn will face Lewis at the peak of his career.

"Anybody who goes up against Lewis needs to have planned their career correctly because it could be a career-ending move when you go up against Lewis," Hamilton Snr told Sky Sports.

"I personally think, while he's getting older and more mature, he's still actually heading towards the prime of his career. So Lewis is going to be a force to be reckoned with this year."

Hamilton was beaten to the championship last season which marked only the second time that he had been outscored by a team mate over a whole season.

"Lewis only ever thinks about winning," he said. "He's happy for Nico, like we all are to be quite honest. We've known him a long time and Nico has really worked hard.

"You need a little bit luck along the way, and he's had that, but I think Lewis is just looking forward now to winning the championship back on his own merit."

@Anu: LOL you turboy fans are pathetic, the whole F1 fandom saw how Mclaren were racing against Alonso from within the same team. The proof was Monza 2007 despite being marginalized by the entire Mclaren team Alonso destroyed the racist pos turboy

  • ROFLMAO!! this tosser and his papa are so full of themselves, Alonso dropped the whoopass on this tosser despite the whole Mclaren team siding with turdboy. Button also made this clown look nothing special. For the gutter talk if Bottas actually proves to be Nico Rosberg 'enhanced[ it would be oh so comical to watch the meltdown! Bet Hamilton will claim it's because he is black or something dumb like that.

@MCLARENFAN1968 aka Hamilton Hater! " Alonso could not whoop hamilton's ass and thus got frustrated and threw his toys out of the pram when the team wouldn't stop treating the 2 equally and not give him preferential treatment! Jenson beat him when hamilton had more retirements & technical issues! no team mate or driver has ever been able to beat Hamilton fair & square in any season or in a wheel to wheel battle yet!

Love how the ham fan boys always say he loses because of reliability problems, what about Rosberg on Abu Dhabi 2014, took pole position at that race and would have surely won it, but Ros brokedown and still had the respect to finish. Ham would have just retired if it had happened to him. Bottas will be a match for Ham, no doubt about that!

What a knob. Arrogant much? I find myself hating Hamilton more than ever before.
    Hope Valtteri kicks his ass!
