Valtteri Bottas believes that his old team Williams will one day win again in Formula One. The Finn leaves the team after signing for Mercedes, replacing the retired Nico Rosberg.
Bottas spent four years racing at Williams and will surely be hoping the switch to the Silver Arrows will bring him success. His 78 starts have brought him nine podiums at Williams.

“It’s been an amazing learning curve for me and also the team,” the 28-year-old said. “Every year you can feel the team has gone more and more professional. Things are developing, even though sometimes the results don’t show it.
“I always say Williams has won so many championships that there’s no reason why it couldn’t win again. I think it’s only for this team a matter of time.
“It’s a shame we couldn’t get together our first win or the title, but I wish all the best to everyone at Williams and a lot of success. And I hope you will get the championship rather sooner than later."
Williams have a rich history, with nine constructor championships. However the last one came in 1997 at the hands of Jacque Villeneuve and Heinz-Harald Frentzen, 20 years ago.
