In an image depicting Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo being chased by a Mercedes and a Ferrari, both Red Bulls feature 'How's My Driving' messages, alluding to controversies during the 2016 season.

In the latter stages of the year, Mercedes boss Toto Wolff contacted Jos Verstappen, pleading with him to ask his son to stay out of the inter-Mercedes title battle; while Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel was involved in a heated radio exchange at the Mexican Grand Prix - a race that saw him, Verstappen, and Ricciardo all classified in third place at one point following the conclusion of the event.
