Pierre Gasly to conduct Pirelli running

Pierre Gassly will drive for Red Bull as they conduct more Pirelli tyre tests this week.

The Red Bull junior takes over from test driver Sebastien Buemi, despite Pirelli's request for race drivers. He has already tested for Red Bull this season, but this will be his first experience of the now 2017 tyres.

The test will take place at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, beginning today (Friday) and running until Sunday.

Pirelli were in action earlier this week with Mercedes at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, although poor weather hampered Nico Rosberg and Pascal Wehrlein's running.
