Mercedes' double podium finish in the Japanese Grand Prix was enough for the team to secure its third consecutive constructors' title.
The Anglo-German operation has been dominant since the 1.6 litre V6 Hybrid engine formula was introduced at the start of 2014. Since then the team has taken 47 wins from a possible 53. In Japan, Nico Rosberg won while Lewis Hamilton recovered from a poor start to finish third.
"There are so many great people in this team that have won the Constructors' title," team boss Toto Wolff told Sky Sports after Rosberg's win on Sunday. "I have the honour of representing them in front of the camera, no more, no less. They were almost faultless through these three years, it's great to work with them."
"Our two drivers are great," he added. "They're not only the best in the world, but they also push each other to new levels. If one has a bad day then they are pushed up by the other, because they set the benchmark."
"It has functioned well. I'm really happy, [even] with all the little wobbles."
