The German team has so far left tyre testing in the hands of test driver Pascal Wehrlein, despite Pirelli requesting that race drivers do as much of the running as possible.
Red Bull Racing have also yet to use race drivers for their tyre tests. Former Toro Ross driver and current test driver Sebastian Buemi has been on hand so far, but when Red Bull get back on track in Abu Dhabi next weekend, it is unknown who will be driving for them.
