Nico Rosberg has rubbished suggestions that he is cracking under the pressure of Lewis Hamilton's recent form.
The German's championship lead has shrunk from 43 points to just a single point after Hamilton took four wins from the last five races, but he still believes that he is in the better position.
"Up until now I have had the best season of all the drivers," Rosberg said. "That is the fact for me which I am focussing on but as I've said before in general I don't look at the big picture because the best approach for me to win races is just to focus on the weekend at hand which is Hungary."
Asked if the more intense championship fight would change his approach this weekend, Rosberg said he was aiming to win this race like any other.
"We will try to get the best out of it and go for the win. It doesn't feel any different to previous weekends. I have reflected on each and every race after it is done and I've moved on. I'm excited to be here and had a good season so far so I will try to win this weekend as well."
Despite the drivers' championship being headed by both Mercedes drivers and the constructors' championship also being topped by the German marque, Rosberg said it was too early to write off Ferrari and Red Bull.
"It is too early to say that," he said. "Ferrari and Red Bull have been a bit up and down but there is still such a long way to go so it wouldn't be right to say that."
