Another collision between the two Mercedes rivals on the last lap proved to be the main talking point of the Austrian Grand Prix.
While the stewards awarded Rosberg a 10 second time penalty, fans are now beginning to speculate whether this will affect the on-track racing between Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton in the future.
When asked about the incident, Toto Wolff, Executive Director of the Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team, said the situation was a familiar one.
"Cars colliding seem a deja vu for us and I am ending up with you guys talking about colliding team mates," he said. "It is absolutely not what we want and we just need to take the consequences from here now."
This latest incident comes after the two rivals collided four races ago at the Spanish Grand Prix, ending both races on the first lap, and the team has previously stated that they could change the driver line-up if they continue to crash into each other.
While it is extremely unlikely a line up alteration will occur mid-season, Wolff confirmed that team orders are a distinct possibility now, and that the option to use them is very much on the table.
"It seems that talking doesn't bring us any further so we need to start thinking of all possible solutions and this can go as far as implementing the not so popular team orders."
