Mercedes has kicked it up a notch on the morning of the first day at the second week of winter testing in Barcelona. Nico Rosberg did a 1:23.022 on the soft compound, by far the fastest time set on the soft tyres at Circuit de Catalunya these weeks. Only one red flag so far, Fernando Alonso stopped on track just after the pit exit, one minute before the lunch break.
