Lewis Hamilton has set the best time in first free practice in Abu Dhabi. The Mercedes driver realised a 1:43.754 and was just over a tenth quicker than team mate Nico Rosberg. Rosberg complained about brake problems, while Hamilton wasn't happy with the way his steering wheel was positioned. Still Mercedes was by far the fastest team. Jolyon Palmer couldn't drive much because of a water leak in his Lotus.
