Italian F1 giants Ferrari are testing their 2014 V6 Turbo engine at their Fiorano Circuit at Maranello, according to a German source.
Last month, the LaFerrari supercar was spotted lapping the circuit and reports suggest that there were distinctive sounds of a turbo engine. The German source has also published photos of the car with a camouflaged livery with a yellow triangular sticker, indicating that there is suspicious electrical activity going on beneath the exterior. Also featured was a "suspiciously large" air intake, as well as a "giant wing" on the rear of the vehicle.
Ferrari are refusing to comment publicly on the test itself, however the report also suggests that the tone of the engine "sounded suspiciously like" the audio clips released last year.
Their 2014 challenger is expected to be unveiled on either the 23rd or 25th of January.
