When a man spends his working days driving Formula One racers, and then 'graduates' to become Marketing Director of the Benetton and Lola Ferrari Formula 1 teams, as well as Manager of the Kyalami F1 Grand Prix Circuit in South Africa, slowing down seems to be the furthest thing from his mind. It seems that authoring books, and acting as a Consultant on the Research and Business Development Office (RBDO), as well as serving on two Bards at Oxford University are not enough.
In addition to all the above, Sims will now be joining the blogging world by penning a blog titled, "Inside Line" on the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Mathematical Sciences web page at Oxford as well. His blog will document his past and current experiences within the motorsport industry, and be tuned to inform his readers not only points of interest within the engineering side of F1, but also for those who may be seeking employment in the motorsports field.
