FP2: Schumacher and Mercedes on top after first day in China

Michael Schumacher realised the best time on the first day of the weekend in Shanghai. The Mercedes driver was in the second practice the only man to dive under 1:36 with a 1:35.973. Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel ended as second and third, both within two tenths of Schumacher. Timo Glock crashed in Turn 1. Paul di Resta and Heikki Kovalainen spun in Turn 16.
