Lewis Hamilton is not interested in a 'number 1' status at Mercedes, stating he wishes for equality between himself and new team mate Valtteri Bottas. Some suggest that comparing the performances of both drivers from the opening two rounds, the roles are already established.
"It (team orders) happens at Ferrari and it has for many, many years," Hamilton, jointly leading the championship with Sebastian Vettel, told the Finnish broadcaster MTV. "But it won't happen with us. And I don't want it to happen. I think I can manage without a decision like that," he added.
However, a 'number 2' role for Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen at Ferrari is not yet evident, as the Finn was allowed to race with team mate Sebastian Vettel at last weekend's Chinese Grand Prix.
"It is still too early to give such orders," former Ferrari team manager Daniele Audetto told Italy's La Gazzetta dello Sport. "But he (Raikkonen) should have understood for himself that in that situation he should move over," he added.

Hamilton saying that he doesnt want to be the number one driver in his team is about as honest as Konami's intentions with any game they develop.
