Mercedes have denied reports that they have mixed oil in with their fuel to give themselves a boost in the 2017 season. Auto Motor und Sport report that Red Bull are suspicious of Mercedes of doing this in qualifying to give themselves a boost.
However, team boss Toto Wolff has stated that the team have never done it, and that other teams are "seeing a lot of ghosts".
"We've never done it," he insisted. "Even before the season starts, some teams are already seeing a lot of ghosts. It was always clear that oil cannot be in the fuel."
