Romain Grosjean is expecting a huge step forward from Haas next season.
Writing in a column for F1i, the Franco-Swiss driver said that the team has a number of areas they can work on.
"The improvement margin for us during the off-season is huge," he said. "Whereas other people are already at a high level, we’ve got so many areas we can improve, so many things we can do better."
"The way we model, we get the tyres to work, we come to the race track ready to run, we know where the car set-up should be, the way we react to problems and so on," he added. "It’s quite big, so if we get that sorted we will make clear progress."
2016 was Haas' first season in Formula One and they made an instant impact with two top-six results in their first two races.
Haas went on to score 29 points altogether - all courtesy of Grosjean - making them the most successful all-new team in F1 for more than 25 years.
