Mercedes have withdrawn an appeal to the stewards over Max Verstappen's driving in the Japanese Grand Prix.
The team initially took issue with Verstappen's defensive move on the penultimate lap, which saw Lewis Hamilton take evasive action on the escape road.
After initially not signalling any intent to appeal over the move, the world champions later lodged a complaint, with the FIA saying that a hearing would take place at the US Grand Prix in two weeks time.
However, Mercedes later withdrew their appeal, after Hamilton apparently vetoed the idea.
"There is no protest from myself," he posted on social media. "Just heard the team had but I told them it is not what we do. We are champions, we move on. End of!
