Toto Wolff has insisted that Valtteri Bottas will be in Formula One next year.
Wolff is part of Bottas' management team alongside Didier Coton and Mika Hakkinen and despite speculation linking Jenson Button and the well-backed Lance Stroll to drives at Williams, the Mercedes Motorsport boss is adamant Bottas will be staying at Williams.
"Valtteri is an integral part of the Williams team at this time," he told Finnish newspaper Turun Sanomat. "It is about team stability there, as it is with us (Mercedes). No Finns have to be concerned about Valtteri's future."
Williams technical director Pat Symonds has said he hopes Bottas remains in F1 next year, but hinted that it may not be with Williams.
"I hope that he's in formula one next year," he said in Hungary, "whether it be with Williams or elsewhere."
