Red Bull Racing team principal Christian Horner has backed Daniel Ricciardo to bounce back from a tough run of form.
The Australian missed out on wins in Monaco and Canada earlier in the season through no fault of his own, while team mate Max Verstappen has won in Spain, and claimed podium finishes in the last two races.
But Horner has said despite his team mate's strong performances in recent races, Ricciardo's confidence hasn't taken a knock.
"Daniel is dealing with it very well," he said. "It's just the run of the green. He's going to have a couple of Sundays come up where everything will fall his way, I'm sure."
"Daniel is a class driver, he has demonstrated already this year that he is at the top of his game," he continued. "No team mate likes being the second of the cars to finish. I'm sure he'll respond positively."
Despite the ongoing problems with Mercedes drivers Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg, and the frosty relationship once seen between former Red Bull drivers Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber, Horner believes that the race winning paring of Ricciardo and Verstappen is a positive for Red Bull at the moment.
"We have two very strong drivers in the cars, they are pushing each other hard which is great to see," he said. "It's a positive thing in the team and there is no animosity or anything – it's just two guys going flat-out going for it.
"It's very healthy for us. There is a confidence in the team that you can see is growing, the car is improving."
