Nico Rosberg insists that his championship challenge is still on track, despite having his lead over team mate Lewis Hamilton trimmed to just one point.
The German enjoyed a strong start to the season, winning the first four races, but one win in the last six races has seen his advantage shrink.
"It has been a very good first half of the season and leading the championship, so it's been a pretty damn good start to the season which I'm pleased about," said Rosberg. "I've had some good races, I had a good race in Austria which went wrong, yeah it can happen and then a good run out there in the dry today, well not so much in the beginning of the race, so there's a lot of positives."
Hamilton meanwhile has won all but one of the last five races, including a dominant performance in his home race at Silverstone last weekend.
"I'm feeling great and the battle is on with Lewis, I'm not counting points because it's still such a long way to go and I don't like to do that," said Rosberg. "For me, the best thing is to win races, which is what I want to do at the moment, just focus on the races and don't look at what is going to happen in six months' time."
