F1 may finally feature high-definition on board cameras in the near future, according to F1 business journalist Christian Sylt. A few days ago, Sylt - having seen a copy of the F1 floatation prospectus - revealed that Bernie Ecclestone
is considering a GP2-GP3 series for the American market.
"It (the prospectus) also says that some of the TV innovations which are being developed include an HD on-board camera, a multi-channel format with different views of the track and an interactive 3D replay function," Sylt told us. He said HD on-board cameras for F1 is "interesting and long-overdue" news. (GMM)
