Race organisers have released further news of their off-track line-up for the 2012 Formula 1 Singtel Singapore Grand Prix. Global superstar Katy Perry will headline the Padang stage on Sunday September 22 at the Marina Bay Street Circuit, with admission free to all three-day race ticket holders.
Perrys two albums have generated a string of number one hit singles and multi-platinum sales over the last four years. She has recently concluded her California Dreams Tour and has been nominated for eight Grammy Awards. Her hits include I Kissed a Girl, Teenage Dream and Firework.
The American joins Asian R&B king Jay Chou and US rock band Maroon 5 in the Singapore line-up. Chou will perform on the Friday night, whilst Maroon 5 will take to the stage on Saturday.
The organisers plan to announce additional artistes in the coming months. (Formula1.com)
