Column: Hamilton fastest so far at wet Barcelona

[LEFT_IMG=512f2b62ea8242177f5c704917452d8f2f99e9d7c3ee2.jpg][/LEFT_IMG]Jean-Eric Vergne was fastest until Lewis Hamilton found some pace on the drying track. His time was a 1:41.614, yet still two seconds off last weeks pace. Felipe Massa was the only driver who could get into the 1:41.
Vergnes time was good enough for 3rd fastest, followed by Webber and di Resta.
There were two red flags during the session. The first was from Grosjean at the starting of the session, spinning out at turn 12. Esteban Gutierrez brought out the second in the final hour before the checkered flag was waved for the lunch hour. He had gone straight into the tyrewall at turn 3, but the damage didnt appear to be too serious.
