Ferrari has confirmed that it will not run Mission Winnow logos on its car at the season-opening Australian Grand Prix later this month.

Mission Winnow is an initiative that was launched prior to the Japanese Grand Prix last year between Ferrari and Philip Morris International (PMI). PMI has repeatedly denied any connection with its tobacco brand, amid strict tobacco advertising laws.

Health departments in Australia and Europe expressed concern over Mission Winnow, due to the tight regulations on tobacco advertising.

Another well-written article. It could however be prudent to mention the link between Phil Morris and e.g Marlboro for readers that aren't clued into which tobacco brands PMI own. :)
