Following the first two practice sessions, Max Verstappen said there was a lot of work to do on his RB13. His running yesterday was also hampered as his car was struck by the fallen T-Wing from Valtteri Bottas' car, causing a reported £50,000 in damages.
However, the Dutchman said he enjoyed a much smoother FP3 and ended the session on top, however, it is not expected to be a true representation of pace as the track will go under the lights for qualifying.
“I’m very happy. We found a better balance after yesterday. The car feels completely different. We’re confident and positive going into qualifying," he said in a brief reaction to verstappen.nl
Daniel Ricciardo could only manage the seventh fastest lap and reported that he was not entirely happy with the balance of his car, a worrying sign heading into qualifying.
