Max Verstappen's father Jos is worried about his son's privacy, stating the 19-year-old can't go anywhere without being recognised. Verstappen has now not only risen to fame in his home country of The Netherlands, but also worldwide as a rising star in Formula 1.
However, Verstappen Snr is worried that all the media exposure could have a negative impact on the Red Bull driver: "Max can not go anywhere anymore, with somebody noticing him. And there is so much pressure on his shoulders.
He says that Max is working six and a half days a week and that the other half day they have for themselves: "But that is very difficult. All the news, that's not good for him."
