Marchionne untroubled by Ferrari staff departures

Ferrari president Sergio Marchionne has moved to play down the effects of several key staff departures as the team sets itself to launch its 2017 world championship challenge.

The high profile losses of James Allison and Dirk De Beer have been viewed by many to be substantial blows, however Marchionne remained upbeat in an interview with Bild.

"Since August, our way of working has changed. We are now investing our money and resources in the right areas. It's true that we've lost a few engineers we did not want to lose, but that's going to happen in every team."

He also moved to reiterate his belief in the team's ability to turn its fortunes around by stating "We are well enough equipped to not require a superhero to solve all of our problems," he said".
