Lewis Hamilton has announced that for 2017, his helmet will be designed by one lucky fan. He revealed yesterday that a competition had been set up to allow anyone to enter with a design, with Hamilton's favourite being the winner.
Two years, a rule was introduced which stopped drivers from continuously changing helmet design throughout a season, a method to help onlookers identify the driver in the car.
The winner will not only get to see their design on Hamilton's helmet all season, but will also receive a full sized replica, signed by the Mercedes driver.
