Manor F1 team are on the brink of entering administration, and are lining up FRP Advisory to act as the administrator.
The team are still trying to secure funds to compete in next year's championship after finishing last in the constructor standings in 2016.
Reports are that the tam have entered negotiations with interested buyers over the last few weeks but all have failed to get anywhere serious. Around 200 jobs are at risk at Manor.
Testing for the new season, which is due to get underway next month, would place a further cost burden on Manor which it is currently unable to fund.
